MEET ALICE

Hi there, I'm Alice!

World Traveler. Nurse Practitioner. Published Photographer. Mental Health Advocate. Dog Lover & Forever Student!

Let me start with the fact that I wholeheartedly love photography as long as I could remember. I really do pour 100% of who I am as an artist into each photo session you have with me. I want to capture LOVE in all of its forms: candid, spontaneous, adventurous, authentic, intentional, and honest. I started experimenting with photography back in when I was in high school, but didn’t do it professionally until I was in college (over 10 years ago already). In 2019, I took a big break to pursue my nursing education (I know, life happened, right?). Good news is: I am finally done with my degrees, so it's time to get back to this lifelong passion of mine.

Booking a session with me is very simple. It goes like this: you fill out a form, we chat, we meet up, we laugh, we have fun, and we create unforgettable memories together! Years from now, I want you to look at these photos and still be able to go back in time and relive those beautiful moments. Outside of this, I work full-time as a nurse/nurse practitioner & I pride myself on being an avid mental health advocate. I also love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, trying out different cuisines, hiking, and traveling... Also, did I mention that I absolutely love dogs? (I just got a Vizsla puppy in January - See photos below!!!!!!)

Anyhow, I could tell me more about myself but that is not the priority here. My priority is YOU. Let me know how we can create our best memories together! Are you passionate about capturing great moments?

So am I.

I love capturing life's precious moments, no matter how big or small: your child's first step, your daughter's first ballet lesson, your son's first football game, your proposal at a place that you two met 10 years ago, the tears on your dad's eyes when he sees you in a wedding dress for the first time, the smile of your mother when she gets to hold her first grandchild, etc. There are a lifetime of reasons to celebrate these moments AND because words are just NOT enough, I want to capture these great memories that would last a lifetime (and more) for you and your family.

MY EDITING STYLE

I would say that my style is very true to color, photojournalistic, joyful, emotional, warm and timeless.

I am not a typical "light and airy" or "dark and moody" photographer.

I like rich, bold and vibrant colors, adding a bit of contrast with the perfect amount of light, not too bright where it would overpower the subjects, and not too dark with tons of shadows, either.

CANDID MOMENTS

I love emotion evoking images. And in order to create these images, as a photographer, I am sometimes like "a fly on the wall." I won't overly pose you or direct you to achieve a certain image but rather, I let you take in the moment, in the presence of your loved ones. I call it the "in between moments." My job is to embrace and capture such candid moments to tell your story in the most authentic and honest way possible. And that.... is exactly how magic happens :)

WE WILL HAVE FUN!

Working as a bedside nurse for the past 5 years give me a lot of appreciation for LIFE. I truly think that the perfect time is now and that you never know how much time you have left. So let's just go all out, have fun, embrace the imperfections, be silly, be goofy, be awkward, be weird, be real, and most important of all, JUST BE YOU. What about me? I will grab the camera and I will be right there with ya. :)
